Service Goodreads has published a rating of the most widely read books in the genres of science fiction and fantasy.
Goodreads is a social network for reading lovers. Created in 2006 by Otis Chandler. Solves the problem of choosing interesting and useful books based on recommendations and feedback from other people, the so-called "social cataloging".
On July 29, Goodreads
blog published a ranking of the best science fiction and fantasy books based on readers' ratings and reviews (over 50 million reviews were posted on the service).
Rating MethodologyThe rating is based on two factors - popularity and average rating. The minimum average rating for getting into the rating is 4 points out of 5. The books in the lists are sorted alphabetically.
