But since the video was very well made, I decided to figure out what was really there. The company assures that it has created and launched into production two lines of industrial controllers, not inferior to counterparts from leading manufacturers. And it happened quietly and unnoticed, which is strange in the light of the current government’s policy of import substitution.

I did not find ANY device on the company's website that is not the equipment of other major manufacturers. Everywhere one picture - repainted housing and re-glued tags.
I can’t say anything concrete about Kaskad software, I haven’t found any screenshots, or at least the pictures on the monitor screen. Everything is well hidden. But here and there images of finished projects skip. And judging by its specification and package breakdown, this is WinCC from Siemens. Well, as they say, "EKB Install has not been canceled." Asushniki understand.
On the one hand, there is nothing terrible in the activities of this company (except for problems with legality - but apparently they perfectly solve them). Well, the guys earn as they can.
On the other hand, this activity causes a number of problems.1.
They automatically win all tenders in which they participate. This was probably the main purpose of the creation of this company. After all, under current legislation, if domestic manufacturers participate in the tender whose equipment meets or exceeds foreign offers (and it corresponds - Veda is, the same Siemens is only repainted), then the customer is simply obliged to accept this offer.2.
Since this company wins tenders, honest domestic developers are left without orders (it’s not natural to catch up with Siemens, and SibCom takes the whole import substitution bonus). Accordingly, their own development does not develop.3.
Since the orders are taken by this company, they will serve them. Who do you think will better serve the equipment - real representatives of Siemens, who have contacts with the manufacturer and his support, or representatives of the company who can only work with a can of paint?4.
Well, the last is the problem of the customers themselves. The S7-400 (CK-4000) controllers are morally and physically outdated and have been out of production for a couple of years. Warehouses are now being sold. And soon the supply of these controllers and expansion units will end. Siemens is slowly transferring its customers to the new S7-1500 series. And this is not an easy operation. It is interesting - and the company “SibCom” will transfer its customers to any SK-15000 when they run out of SK-4000 stocks. Not sure. And the zip the same will take nowhere.
I am also interested in another question - where does Siemens look? Indeed, judging by the vigorous activity of this company, they must have come across it. Although ... maybe they are not against it, because the old controllers of the 400th series need to be fused somewhere.
